We produce all our buildings while bearing in mind they need to withstand the Scottish elements.  That's why our buildings are chosen time and time again.


This is a list of the materials used to construct our most common buildings.


Sheds (Up to 16'/ 4.8m):

Joists= 50x50mm Treated timber

Flooring= 18mm tongue and groove chipboard or 19mm tongue and groove whitewood (customers choice)

Wall Framing= 50x50mm Treated timber

Side cladding= 16mm tongue and groove Weatherborboard

Roof purlins= 50x50mm Treated timber

Roof sarking= 9mm Sterling board (Oriented Strand Board) This is used as apposed to traditional sarking boards as it will not shrink and expand with the sun and cause cracking of the felt.

Glazing= 4mm Float glass

Exterior painted with 1 coat of cuprinol.


Summerhouses:

Joists= 50x50mm Treated timber

Flooring= 19mm tongue and groove whitewood

Wall Framing= 63x38mm dressed, treated timber with rounded corners

Side cladding= 16mm tongue and groove Weatherborboard

Roof purlins= 63x38mm dressed, treated timber with rounded corners

Roof sarking= 9mm Sterling board (Oriented Strand Board) This is used as apposed to traditional sarking boards as it will not shrink and expand with the sun and cause cracking of the felt.

Glazing= 4mm Toughened glass or Double glazing (customer's choice)

Exterior painted with 1 coat of cuprinol.
